Cognitive Bias in Decision Making

One of the most common decision making traps is the presence of bias.  There are many biases floating around in our brains that we are not aware of.  These biases can dramatically affect the quality of the decision making process and the best way to avoid them is to be aware of them.  Below is a copy of a presentation that I have developed based on the idea of System One and System Two Thinking, based on a book, Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.  I highly recommend it.

Pay particular attention to Slide 19 which is a great synopsis of the types of cognitive bias which can invade our thinking processes
